As a fellow student, I do my best to pick up some new articles of clothing before school starts. Trust me I know how pricy it can get. So I just want to share a tip that will save you a few dollars here and there. (those few dollars can accumulate very nicely) Many stores at the moment have a promotion that if you show student identification you get a certain percentage off. I learned about this through Retailmenot. I personally use the app. Different stores have different policies but I know that this discount usually take place all August and early September.
* just want to throw out there that when I went to H&M I didn't have student I.D. but I showed the cashier my working permit that shows my school signature and she gave me the discount
